Renowned legal firm, Barkers Attorneys, was established in 1932. With incredibly well situated offices across the greater Durban region, it made good sense for the team to open up a North Coast office. We chatted to Esti Lombard, partner and branch manager at the Barkers North Coast office.
How did your business start?
Since 1932, Barkers has grown into a prominent and trusted firm of attorneys, commercial advisers and conveyancers, led by a core team of attorneys and supported by more than thirty dedicated associates, consultants, assistants and administrators.
Why did you choose this area to set up shop?
Ballito is one of the fastest growing towns in South Africa with significant property, infrastructural and commercial developments being undertaken now and in the near future.
How did you find your premises?
With well-established branches in Umhlanga and along the South Coast, it was an obvious choice for us to open up a North Coast branch, ensuring continued future growth of our firm.

With three branches, in Umhlanga, Amanzimtoti and Ballito, our client base grows in line with our expansion.
