As you enter Rademeyers the long passage way runs between dining areas on either side of it. At the top of the passage is an exit to the veranda section with a gorgeous view of the natural surroundings, wildlife and skyline of the reserve. It’s the perfect spot for catching a glimpse of game such as zebras, springbok or antelope.

The bar, located in a separate building around the corner, offers a welcome respite after a long day where you can sip on a sundowner and admire the autographed sports paraphernalia on the walls.
The indoor dining areas with antique-style wooden floors and furniture, colourful paintings and velvet curtains provide a homely feel as if you may be sitting in a classic family dining room.
The menu includes a variety of traditional South African dishes and the revival of some old Afrikaans recipe favourites, served with a modern twist. Try the crumb fried jalapeno poppers stuffed with cream cheese, cheddar and bacon or the tricoloured Caprese salad with mozerella, tomato, avocado and basil pesto for starters.
For mains have the tender lamb shank, slow braised in red wine, tomato, onion, rosemary and thyme, or the fried calamari served with tartar sauce. Wrap up your meal with malva pudding served with home-made custard or peppermint crisp tart.
