The balancing of the flow of energy in our bodies has become an increasingly popular form of holistic healing. Gerhard Liebenberg, owner of the Enigma – Holistic Health & Esoteric Practice, uses this form of therapy to improve the health of his clients. He tells us more about his business.
How did your business start?
I’ve always wanted to help people, so I became involved with someone in a similar business who was a mentor to me. As I became more connected to my spirituality, I realised that helping people heal in a holistic way was my life’s purpose.
Why did you choose this area to set up shop?
The Bluff has the right atmosphere for a holistic healing centre, which is my long-term goal. There are a lot of people interested in holistic health. However, there aren’t many practitioners in the area. The ocean is healing in its own way, so for that reason it was the ideal place for me to bring the business.
How did you find your premises?
This property was available on Gumtree for rent by the owner.
Why are the premises ideally suited to your business?
The house is perfect for living as well as for operating the business. The environment is tranquil and conducive to healing.
Who are your neighbours?
Different families within the residential area.
What are the shop rental/sales prices like in this area?
I operate from home, so I don’t have to pay extra rent for a shop.
How many people visit your business each day?
I work by appointment and see about six clients per day.
Do you have any expansion plans?
My vision is to open a healing centre to rehabilitate and heal clients, as well as work alongside other holistic healers.
Do you operate online as well?
Yes, I have an active Facebook page that I use as a marketing platform, providing clients with information on the therapies on offer.
What’s your most popular service?
I start each client off with a Quantum Magnetic Resonance Analyser Scan. This scans the entire body to establish the condition of the anatomy of the client. It goes hand in hand with ear acupuncture which is used to treat all illnesses, diseases or addiction.
