Oreo bliss
The Oreo Milkshake at Ed’s Diner in Parkview will delight you as you sip on this creamy, crunchy, triple-thick milkshake and a half. These milkshake experts are super-generous with their ice cream and serve you both the milkshake and remaining milkshake in the canister. Ed’s Diner Parkview provides over 20 mouthwatering flavours in premium and speciality milkshakes, including new delicious flavours such as Smarties, peanut butter and Whispers.
Strawberry sublime
The Cullinan diamond’s perfection is rivalled by this gem of a strawberry milkshake at Piacere Italian Restaurant. The treat is topped with cream, drizzled with strawberry syrup and is decorated beautifully. Other tantalising milkshake flavours include Horlicks, coffee, bubble-gum and Milo.
Fancy Ferrero Rocher
The Ferrero Rocher milkshake at Casbah Pretoria West, served with a dash of cream and sprinkled with hundreds and thousands, is my favourite. And nothing beats old-school roadhouse convenience where waiters serve you in your car. This milkshake is made with real Ferrero Rocher chocolate blended into the best quality ice cream and served with a double thick “straw spoon” to let you scoop up every last bit. Other interesting flavours available are Aero Chunky, Peppermint Crisp and Inside Story.
Gourmet Chocolate Cherry
The Gourmet Chocolate Cherry milkshake at Mugg & Bean in Kolonnade is unlike any other milkshake flavour I’ve ever tasted. Light and creamy, with strong cherry flavours and chocolate undertones. It is made with Mugg & Bean’s own brand of soft serve and topped with cream and cherry and chocolate syrup. Other gourmet flavours include toffee peanut butter and milk tart.
