I’ve been a huge fan of Zip Zap Circus School since I first went to see one of their shows when I was just an intern. The non-profit social school, started by Brent van Rensburg and Laurence Estève, uses the circus arts to transform lives and inspire children from all walks of life to dream big. The classes are free to all students with passion and you can see all their hard work pay off in one of their stunning productions.
If you haven’t seen a Zip Zap performance yet, you’re missing out. It’s a truly unique experience as you see these young entertainers perform mind-boggling acts of human movement.
Last year, they partnered with the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra which saw the Zip Zap performers put on a show like no other accompanied by orchestral masterpieces – and the two are back with Journey Beyond.
