Palm Lakes prides itself on being a family-friendly estate and the celebration of the 1000th transfer held on Sunday 26th August at Numz Adventure Island (just opposite the estate) was the epitome of a family, fun-filled event and what can be expected from living on the Estate. Laughter filled the air and smiles were all around to celebrate this well-earned achievement.
Wim Sak (CEO and developer of Palm Lakes) and his wife Olivia Roels Sak (SOO of Palm Lakes) were responsible for organising a party for all the residents and invited guests and what a party it was. The guests included around 900 residents of the Estate and their families, Mayor Gumede of Ilembe District and his first lady, the Estate’s attorneys and all members of the press. Everyone was free to enjoy delicious snacks, free drinks, live music and the adults were comforted to let their kiddies run free with a range of activities that included horse riding.
Palm Lakes Family Estate is a development next to the offramp of Tinley Manor, 13 km from Ballito and 23 km from the international airport and has been expanding since the idea for the development started in 2007.
The residential side is almost fully developed and is made complete with an on-site school (TrinityHouse Christian School) catering for children aged 3 months-18 years of age, clubhouses complete with restaurants and café’s, pools, dams, wildlife and a fully-equipped retirement village making sure that grannies and grandpas don’t miss out on a thing!
The next developments that Wim and Olivia are involved in and will soon be launching, will be located on the other side of the provincial road highway facing the ocean. We cannot wait to be a part of the growth, inspiration and ingenuity that this power couple radiates.
