Willowridge High School
This public, English medium co-ed high school opened its doors in 1987 to 187 learners and has gone from strength to strength in the decades that followed. With a strong emphasis on academic excellence, the school offers a great variety of subjects, which includes Computer Application Technology (CAT), Economical Management Sciences, Business Studies and Hospitality Studies (Hotel). The sporting facilities are excellent and include various fields as well as a 25-metre swimming pool and a rock-climbing wall. The school belongs to the Pretoria English Medium High Schools Athletics Association, who meet thrice a year for a swimming gala (held at Hillcrest Swimming Pool), cross country (held at the host school) and an athletics meeting held at Pilditch Stadium.

Opportunities, development and achievement – these are the hallmarks of this Afrikaans-medium school where the aim is to provide as many opportunities to each and every learner to fulfill their unique potential and help them to excel in everything they tackle. Although the school is Afrikaans-medium, they do also enroll students with other first languages, who are then able to make the most of subjects such as English First Language, for example.

This co-ed, Christian-orientated primary school offers an excellent English-medium for Grade R to Grade 7-learners and here, a happy and safe environment is the backbone to developing and challenging young minds.
