Stanley Street’s Salt restaurant, which opened three-and-a-half years ago, offers a relaxed environment where patrons can indulge in the popular Lindt chocolate smoothie made with real Lindt chocolate and low-fat ice-cream. Other delicious smoothies include cranberry, strawberry and berry, all made with real fruit, 100% fruit juice and low-fat ice-cream. Open Monday to Sunday, 8am to about 2am.
News Cafe at the Boardwalk in Summerstrand has a variety of refreshing smoothies, ranging from the bright-green kiwi, apple, mint and cucumber smoothie to the passion fruit crush, and the ever-popular cappuccino smoothie. The cafe has a vibrant atmosphere where you can enjoy more decadent gourmet shakes like the strawberry cheesecake version, made with strawberries, cream cheese, condensed milk and tennis biscuits. Also popular is the Gummi-Berry shake with berries, bubblegum syrup and jelly babies. Open Sunday to Thursday, 9am to 12am, and Friday to Saturday 9am to 3am.
