Shinko Sushi

If you’re adventurous about sushi and like to try new and different variations, Shinko Sushi’s the place for you as their menu has so much more to offer than what you usually find at a sushi restaurant. Sure, the staples are all there – sashimi, maki, California rolls, fashion sandwiches, hand rolls and nigiri, as well as the following salads: prawn & avo, crab stick & cucumber, and tempura prawn. But then there are also a whole host of delectable specials, like Samurai Rolls, Dragon Flower Rolls, Cairn’s Rolls, Sakura Rolls and Wasabi Stacks.
Apart from sushi, Shinko also offers an extensive range of Chinese dishes, including favourites such as various kinds of spring rolls, dumplings, chop suey, Kong Bao Chicken, Crispy Beef, Sweet Sour Pork, Egg Rice dishes and Chao Mein noodle dishes with veggies, chicken, beef or pork. Combos include meals for two (such as two chicken spring rolls, sweet and sour pork or chicken and any meat chop suey or noodles) and meals for three (three vegetable spring rolls, three chicken spring rolls, sweet and sour pork or chicken, chop suey beef, pork or chicken and beef, pork of chicken noodles).

Open for dinners and lunches and serving delectable Durban curries and deli food, this is the place to go if you feel like samoosas with fillings like lamb mince, fish, chicken, potato cheese and corn and soya mince. And that’s just to start off with! Indigo also offers sublime toasted lamb, chicken and bean sandwiches; lamb, chicken or veggie (soya) burgers and hotdogs; bunny chows with lamb, chicken, beans or dhall (served with salad or sambals) and some seriously good curries (choices include lamb, chicken, butter chicken, prawns, beans and more – all served with rice or rotis). Other highlights include their briyani (lamb, chicken or veggie), homemade pickles (mango, grated mango, chilli and mint chutney), and then there are the platters… These include treats from the menu items, combined with other delicacies such as puri patha, curry potato pies and spicy BBQ chicken wings.
Finally, the weekend specials at Indigo are not to be missed, and varies from treats such as mutton and samp, to crab curry or their simply delicious chicken livers. Everything is made from scratch, the portions are generous and the quality of every dish is simply excellent value for your money.
