You might recognise this gorgeous entranceway from our 05 March Pretoria cover. This is the Ivory Manor Boutique Hotel and she’s not just a pretty face. This boutique hotel is the perfect place to stay, eat and visit when you are in Rietvalleirand, Pretoria.

That personal touch

This family-owned hotel is all about hands-on, friendly service for all their guests, whether spending the night or popping in to see the lovely green gardens and stunning restaurant. It’s also the perfect spot for your next event (as a bride-to-be this would be a great spot for a wedding) or conference.

Five-star stay

The Ivory Manor Boutique Hotel boasts nine-individually decorated suites (five-deluxe and four-premier suites) which can accommodate a maximum of 23 guests. The rooms are Tuscan-inspired so think rich, earth tones, warm rugs and bronze statuettes. Of course, each room caters for your every need complete with a spacious bathroom, a mini-bar and a Nespresso coffee machine. The amazing staff will ensure that everything else is taken care of, to the tiniest details to make sure your stay is a memorable one.

The Gallery Restaurant

Chef Liza Strauss, who has worked under some of our country’s most renowned chefs such as Margot Janse (Le Quatier Francais) and Chris Erasmus (Pierneef @ La Motte) to name but a few, will take you on a food journey at Ivory Manor Boutique Hotel’s restaurant, The Gallery. Her dishes focus on unique flavour profiles and outstanding presentation while still maintaining that passion for food, which is lovingly prepared and wholesome too.

Gardens

We can’t talk about The Ivory Manor Boutique Hotel without mentioning their three lush gardens (The Rose Garden, The Fairy Garden and The French Garden), which are the picture-perfect spots if you need to unwind, enjoy the five-star high tea with your girlfriends or for an impromptu picnic with your other half. An integrated part of the hotel, the rich greenery of the gardens will tempt you to leave the comforts of the inside and set on a whimsical journey outside. Each garden has its own unique feel and all need to be explored in order to appreciate their distinctive beauty.

Upcoming events

Of course, the Ivory Manor Boutique Hotel hosts plenty of events for locals and tourists to enjoy. The next one of the calendar is their Mexican Evening on 31 March. It will cost R250pp and will feature a tasty Mexican-themed menu and, of course, a traditional Mexican Mariachi band. Keep an eye of their Facebook page (www.facebook.com/Ivorymanor) to find out more about upcoming events.
