This vibrant craft beer brewery prides itself on being the first of its kind in the area and their fully kitted brewery use only the very best quality ingredients. Suffice to say, they’re pretty passionate about beer! Their offering includes these very quaffable highlights:
Winkle Weiss:
Light and crisp with notes of bubblegum, banana or clove. Light in colour, cloudy when poured and highly effervescent. Made predominantly from malted wheat.
Pulpit Pilsner:
Not too bitter and not too sweet – and deliciously light and crisp. It pours clear and has a higher level of carbonation than most other beers. (The name originates from the city of Plzen in Bohemia in the Czech Republic.)
Toti Black:
Packed with roasted coffee flavours and hints of fruity notes. This dark beer pour with a smooth, creamy head and is a porter-beer (historically, it was very popular among street and river porters in London) – which has a similar history to stout-beer.
Hamilton Hammer:
A typical American Amber Ale with roasted caramel flavours that are reminiscent of candy floss or litchi fruit. It pours with a clear amber colour and creamy ale head and has a lingering clean bitter aftertaste.
Toti Gold: An American Pale Ale bordering on an IPA (India Pale Ale) concerning its fruitiness and bitterness. It boasts a golden-honey colour and a long, clean and bitter aftertaste.
Hopstrosity:
An IPA with strong notes of sun-ripe oranges, passion fruit or guavas.
Prospecton Brewery

Visits to Prospecton Brewery – one of the most modern breweries in the southern hemisphere – include daily guided tours (where you’ll be shown the entire brewing and packaging process and enjoy a beer in the brewery’s pub afterwards) and beer-tasting and appreciation-sessions are also on offer. This brewery produces millions of litres of beer annually and their labels include: Redd’s Premium Dry and Cold, the full range of Castle beer (Lager, Draught, Lite, Milk Stout), Hansa Pilsner and Carling Black Label.
