Steyn City’s recently launched Vision 2020 has stunned property investors and potential homeowners alike, proving that the lifestyle resort more than lives up to its promise to offer a destination like no other.
The chief cause of excitement is the City Centre, with the first 220 units in Phase I ready for launch next year. When complete, this one of a kind development will offer over 700 apartments, along with 11 exquisite penthouses.
However, it is the unique amenities on offer that truly set the City Centre apart. “When Steyn City launched in 2015, we made a promise that we would invest a further R5,5 billion in the parkland at a later date. With the introduction of the City Centre, this promise has come to fruition,” notes Giuseppe Plumari, CEO of Steyn City Properties.
The investment includes the construction of the Steyn City Clearwater Lagoon designed and built by Gast Clearwater; one of the first residential lagoons in South Africa. Measuring an impressive 300m, the lagoon boasts such facilities as beach areas, cocktail bars, a kiddies’ water park, volleyball courts, change facilities and a kiosk where beach essentials and water sport equipment may be hired. All told, the lagoon transforms Steyn City into a destination as enticing as any of South Africa’s premier seaside resorts.
The allure is enhanced by the presence of a heliport. “From the outset, our goal has been to provide convenience for our residents; to save them time so that they have more hours to spend doing what they love,” Plumari comments. The heliport certainly answers this brief, making it possible for residents to skip traffic jams and arrive on time for critical meetings. The facility also includes a lounge and TV area, office suite and washroom – all designed to increase effectiveness and work/life balance.
With this in mind, Steyn City has released an app – again, with a firm emphasis on convenience and community building. The app presents functionality as yet not offered by any other gated community in South Africa, including features allowing residents to book tickets for events held at the parkland, make reservations at onsite restaurants and the golf club, and even track lost property – to name just a few.
“We are extremely excited about the market’s reaction to Vision 2020. This is a thrilling time for us – and for all those who are looking for a lifestyle beyond compare,” Plumari concludes.
